About Roost

Roost is a household admin app built in the UK, designed for people who want their insurance details, renewal dates, shared lists and emergency contacts in one place — rather than scattered across email inboxes, kitchen drawers and one person's memory.

The app is free to start. It runs on iOS and in any browser. You can use it on your own, or share a household with your partner, housemates or family — everything syncs in real time across all devices.

Roost was built by Pete Jenkins, a solo developer based in the UK. It started as a personal project to solve a specific problem: in most households, one person holds all the important information in their head. When the boiler breaks, they know who to call. When the MOT is due, they know. When the shopping list changes, they're the one who knows what's already in the cupboard.

Roost is the app that gets that information out of one person's head and into a shared place — structured, searchable, and available to everyone in the household.

Roost is a UK-built household admin app available at getroost.io. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any other product, company or service using the Roost name — including smart home products, property services, or other apps that may share the name.
